Interpretation Services - For legal interpretation it is preferred to be State Certified if needed for Civil and Criminal Courts. It is now required that interpreters be State Certified for all legal matters before State, Federal and County Court hearings. It is also required to be Certified for Depositions. ATA Certifications is also a plus.
Translation Services - ATA Certification preferred but not mandatory. Must be a native speaker of requesting language. Must be fluent in English. Also preference shall be given to translators using TRADOS.
Transcribers: Must be native speakers of requesting language and fluent in English. Must have a transcription program installed on their computer. If you do not have one Gentil Translations can always recommend one to you.
Medical interpreters and translators- Must have at least 3 years experience in the medical field. Preferred those who are certified as a Medical Interpreter or Translator but not required.
